Exclusively delivered in schools, WayAhead’s Small Steps webinars will now be available to parents, caregivers and teachers around NSW and beyond, to help them support the primary school-aged children in their lives.
The Small Steps webinar covers in-depth the signs, symptoms, types and treatments for anxiety disorders in children. Near the end, it will touch on how to approach stressful current events, like the recent bushfires and the COVID-19 outbreak.
Each session runs for for 1.5 hours, including a one hour presentation followed by a 30-minute Q&A, led by the needs and queries of webinar attendees.
Although attendance is free, bookings are essential with each webinar capped at 30 participants.
Currently, the workshops are available on Tuesday evening, Wednesday lunchtime and Thursday morning.
